Privacy Policy
We keep this simple. Here is what we collect, why we collect it, and exactly what you can do about it.
Last updated: March 1, 2026
UnoiaTech ("we," "us," or "our") builds digital products for ambitious businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit unoiatech.com, fill out a contact form, or engage with us about a project. We are committed to plain language — no 14-page legalese, no buried opt-outs.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we actually need. Here is what that looks like in practice:
Information you give us directly
- Contact & inquiry data — your name, email address, company name, phone number, and the details of your project brief when you reach out via our contact form or email.
- Communication records — messages, emails, and call notes from our discovery and project conversations.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, time on site, referral source, browser type, and device information.
- IP address — used for security monitoring and approximate geographic analytics only. We do not build individual profiles from this.
- Cookies — see Section 4 below for the full breakdown.
Information we never collect
We do not collect payment card numbers, social security numbers, government IDs, or any sensitive personal information through this website.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for four purposes — and only these four:
- To respond to your inquiry. When you fill out our contact form or email us, we use your information to reply, understand your project needs, and determine if we are the right fit for each other.
- To deliver our services. For active clients, we use project-related information to manage deliverables, communicate progress, and coordinate our team.
- To improve this website. Aggregated, anonymized analytics help us understand which content is useful and where the experience can be improved. No individual tracking.
- To meet legal obligations. We retain records as required by applicable law and respond to lawful requests from authorities where legally compelled to do so.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising targeting. We do not share it with data brokers.
3. How We Share Your Information
Your information stays with us except in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We work with a small number of trusted vendors — hosting providers, email tools, and analytics platforms — who access data only to perform services on our behalf. Each is bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of UnoiaTech, our clients, or the public.
- Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, client information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
No sale. No third-party advertising. Ever.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use a minimal cookie setup. Here is what is running on this site:
- Essential cookies — Required for basic site functionality (navigation, form submission). Cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
- Analytics cookies — We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, session duration, referral source). These are anonymized and do not track you across other sites.
We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or social media tracking scripts on this website.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling analytics cookies has no effect on your ability to use this site.
5. Data Retention
We keep your data only as long as it serves a legitimate purpose:
- Inquiry & pre-project data — retained for up to 2 years in case you return with a project, then deleted.
- Active client records — retained for the duration of the engagement plus 5 years to meet standard business and legal record-keeping requirements.
- Analytics data — aggregated, anonymized, and retained indefinitely. Individual session data is never stored long-term.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it securely.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you have specific rights over your personal information. We honor them all, regardless of jurisdiction:
- Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction. Ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion. Request that we delete your personal information. We will comply unless we are legally required to retain it.
- Portability. Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection / Restriction. Object to certain uses of your data or ask us to restrict processing while a dispute is resolved.
- Withdraw consent. Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect and share, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information — there is nothing to opt out of.
EU/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR): Our lawful basis for processing contact and project data is legitimate interest (responding to your inquiry) and, where applicable, performance of a contract. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@unoiatech.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information — including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% impenetrable. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly and take immediate steps to contain it.
8. Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a child, contact us and we will delete it immediately.
9. Third-Party Links
Our website contains links to external sites — client case studies, social media profiles, partner platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. When you leave unoiatech.com, we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.
10. Changes to This Policy
We will update this page if our practices change in any meaningful way. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. For significant changes, we will provide more prominent notice.
